many of you are already familiar with our situation, but for a recap we have been homeless going on a little over a month (i think? everything blends together) in and out of cheap motels when we are able to, and sleeping in parks & elsewhere when we can’t. we both suffer from multiple mental illness disabilities & i suffer from multiple physical handicaps resulting from car accidents, work accidents, and abuse and we’re both the product of abusive households and C-PTSD. we’ve applied for food assistance, but it will be atleast another 7-10 days before we recieve our card. we also live in an exceedingly rough area - maybe youve heard of Flint, Michigan? being on the street here is extremely unsafe, and access to resources is slim to null.
Our goal is to SAVE $600-$1000 as is this would be enough to put us on a trajectory out of this situation.
however, daily expenses - such as food, water, and the motel room make it VERY difficult to save what we get to put towards the larger goal. poverty is expensive, and having a decent sum at one time is the key to get out of this mess.

we did find somewhere to stay but our roommates are now absolutely batshit crazy and keep destroying the house, their house, and we keep having to leave because its entirely too stressful and dangerous to stick around whilst theyre also continuously getting the police called on them, or calling them on eachother! so we’ve been having to pack and unpack necessities atleast once a day if not multiple times.. but we have nowhere else to go, no money, no internet, and the vehicle we were able to use is an absolute deathtrap and is dead weight without gas money anyway! so if anyone could please still help us out if they’re able to, we definitely still need the help. Sorry this is dragging on so long.
I cant tell you how disheartened, discouraged, depressed, starved, and exhausted we are because of everything leading to this point, not to mention all our energy and time is eaten up just trying to keep ourselves safe from one thing or another. thank you, anybody that makes this any easier to bare.

the aforementioned “roommates” where we were staying set the house we were staying at on fire during a fight & were arrested, but now we again have nowhere to go besides a hotel when possible. the starter on the car went out about a week ago as well so we’re out transportation. once again thanks to anyone able to help ❤️⚒️🖤

We still really need help. The last month has been an entirely new hell and we just keep losing more and more and being shoved into the worst situations imagineable. We have no friends or family close enough to help us in any way, no vehicle, worsening mental and physical health issues that are by no means minor.
We have been getting help from the same 2-3 people when they’ve been able to for the past month+, but that’s about it. Nothing is too small though and we’re both immensely grateful to everyone that’s taken mercy on us.
LAPD detonated 5000 lbs of fireworks in the middle of a residential area, injuring at least 17 people and causing $900 million in various damages in a low-income, majority-POC neighborhood.
They then continue to pursue caging the person whose fireworks they stole while news media misreports to cover for police incompetency and destruction.
It took TWO YEARS to get the names of those involved with this incident. There are people still protesting, still living in hotels, still with unfulfilled claims to the city from this shit

They are encouraged not to attend at all, in part because those are complex issues and it’s easy to trip on them.
TikTok and YouTube INFLUENCERS are likely to be contacted by studios and told, “how would you like to make a LOT of money, talking about this show?”

That counts as crossing the picket line, and would result in:
Being banned from SAG-AFTRA membership for life, and
Possibly being blocked from other union jobs if they find out that you scabbed during a strike.
